This is all a lie. In my carefully curated universe motorbikes never go down.Popeye_Card wrote: ↑October 6 23, 10:22 amWell, I pulled the trigger on the V9 Bobber. Great bike, and the style is fantastic.
Now the bad news.

Re: Let's Talk about sweet cars
My wife is a bit of a Honda Civic fanboy. I think she has owned 6 of them in her life. lol As you may remember a good while ago her previous Civic was totaled when a semi driver lost consciousness and plowed through a parking lot at highway speed totaling her car and several others. Sadly the driver passed. In the meantime my wife went and bought a 2016 Expedition which was possibly the last thing I would have expected her to buy, but it's actually pretty nice and she got it stupid cheap. Somewhere between her old car and the Expedition she placed a deposit on a new Civic Type R which we were not sure she would ever actually get because car industry reasons. Well word is her new Civic will be in this week. Assuming I get to drive it I'm excited to try it. I hear the Type Rs are pretty good fun to drive so we will see.

Re: Let's Talk about sweet cars
I just need someone to vent to, and I'm sure I'll sound like a big dick doing so. One of the problems I'm having is weakness in my right arm and hand and it is making shifting a manual transmission a chore. Three times last week I did a 1-4 shift while driving because my hand just didn't go where it should have. I alluded earlier in the thread that I was looking at another car that would be an automatic but I've yet to really settle. I've been thinking of selling my Viper but my wife says keep it. She's not wrong in that it's value is sure to only increase. She is also pretty optimistic about my strength returning but there is just a good of a chance it won't and I'm less optimistic as I haven't seen improvement for a while now. I tried a Supra not long ago. Man I love the car, but it's a difficult ingress and egress for someone my size and condition. Not to mention the door opening is low and it seems like people hitting their heads is a common complaint. I just kind of want one more nasty fast car incase this thing gets worse and in the not to distant future I can't hand that or drive at all.
My current short list is.
C7 Z06 Vette
Lexus RC-F
Final Generation CTS-V since the CT5-Blackwings are still pretty high priced.

I’m biased, but maybe test drive an F-Type R or SVR and see if it is for you. They do have a fairly tight cockpit though, maybe a smidge shorter than a Vette.

It sounds like you're targeting V-8s, but I've heard glowing things about the CT4-V Blackwing as well.IMADreamer wrote: ↑October 29 23, 9:47 pmI just need someone to vent to, and I'm sure I'll sound like a big dick doing so. Re: Let's Talk about sweet cars

I know trucks have gotten a lot bigger over the years.
My old truck was an ‘83 High Sierra. It fit in my garage. Today, I doubt even a Colorado or Tacoma would fit.

And there is a real chance the bed of the older one is bigger than the new one! I hate what they've done to trucks. I was just telling a son I'm looking for a 90's vintage model as a replacement to our current 2nd vehicle.
