How many other managers would let the same reliever give up a tying homer twice in the late innings, yet still leave him in to give up a 3rd homer as a go-ahead?

Graceffo, Soriano, O’Brien (and JoJo and Fernandez when available) are the 3 guys with the lead. If you need a 4th, then it’s svanson, who’s now rebounding and pitching great like he did all of last year.

Just an awful loss. Oli really hasn't grown much in the bullpen.

This is the risk you run when you spend the off-season pretending winning doesn't matter and then you unexpectedly have a chance to win. The things you didn't improve come back to haunt you.

He does have a negative fWAR. The regression is coming hard.

JoJo not being available is pretty much on Oli also. Why did he use him in a game where the Cards were up by 7 runs?
Losses suck but it is worse when you feel like the other team is trying to give you the win and you just won't take it.

That was a really trash game on a rain soaked trash field.
I have always wondered why a retractable dome was not put in that stadium. March/April games and September/October games there can be very cold. And precipitation is a concern there no matter the month.

Graceffo has 17 Ks in 33 innings. He's bad.
The greatest trick Marmol pulled is convincing people the Cardinals should win close games. They're a miracle this season.
