Re: Rant/Rave: Bourbon
Sorry, but that's not right. I don't really need to give you a big long self-indulgent thing that you probably won't read about my qualifications to talk about what is and is not condescending and caustic, because it should be evident in my posts that I know what I'm talking about. You can amen all you want, but you're wrong. Dead wrong. I don't care. Spend your posts however you want to spend your posts, but you can't act all holier-than-thou over the principle behind the thing, or get all up in arms when people point this stuff out.The Third Man wrote:33rd doesn't strike me as condescending in this thread at all.
Have a seat and enjoy the small small box you've decided to cram into.

Yeah, it's totally unreasonable of me to respond strongly to someone telling me to [expletive] off and shut up because I don't know what I'm talking about. Bad me.

Middle, do you believe passionately in the principles you espouse, vis-a-vis, liquor?

33rd knows his alcohol and spoke out about it after several really trollish "nyahnyah I can't hear you" posts, defended himself, and others said "hey but we were just kidding, though!"
I love whiskey, have made a career out of it, and am honestly hesitant to post about it in this forum.

I bought some Buffalo Trace for the playoffs. It is, in fact, delicious.

I've spent a decade of time and money on cocktails and spirits, but would rather not even talk about it here.
