I ate Mexican last night and felt like trash this morning.

I decided to fight fire with fire and ate Indian food for lunch.

It didn't work. Never do this, you guys.

I ate a salad for dinner and felt better.

Turns out my body works differently now than it did when I was 20. Did you guys know about this? Wild.

You know you're getting older when you make food decisions based on how it's going to make you feel later. I've been eating really well for like a month with the exception of a couple of meals (BCD and Au Cheval). Both of them landed me on the toilet for about an hour. The upside there is that they were delicious and I still felt like I was losing weight.

Low sodium turkey on whole wheat puts me to sleep and a cup of coffee keeps me up all night. Just the thought of something like that affecting me is hilarious given all of the nonsense that it used to take me to go to bed or wake up. It would be like pissing into the ocean.

I don't think I've ever had spicy food come back and bite me the way some people do, and I really like spicy food. Not sure what's going on there. More than a few beers will really do a number on me though, which is at least partly why I seldom drink it any more.

I've been on a pretty strict diet for the last few weeks. Lots of salads, chicken, all kinds of low carb crap. Had a Smashburger binge last night. Bacon cheeseburger, fries, shake. Even though I fully realized the consequences.

I've been on a similar one, Rad. No bread, pasta, potatoes, etc. Lots of leafy greens, lots of avocado, meat, eggs. But also no beer.

Yesterday I tasted out a bunch of Oktoberfests with a distributor rep. It was a worthwhile cheat.
