I've got that video on repeat. Quit watching it but the song gets me pumped up.

Oh yeah, the moments before (presumably) Freese hitting the triple are priceless. I can totally relate to the guy standing up not knowing rather to bite his nails or walk away or turn the tv off or what. Just hoping and watching....

Felix The Cat wrote:Why were people recording themselves watching a sports game? Reminds me of that Jimmy Kimmel bit where he asked viewers to record fan reactions to turning off the TV during a crucial point of the SB. Either way, love the old lady dancing and screaming "We're numbah one!"
Why do people record themselves doing anything? Although if it were me I agree to an extent--if I'd been in that stadium I'd have been watching David Freese with my eyeballs instead of through a view finder. OTOH if I'd had the camera going at home my little girl could have laughed years from now at how dumb Daddy looked screaming "SON OF A B---H!" at the TV when Freese tripled.

It's pretty easy to both enjoy the moment and record it. Just hit record and point it in the general direction of whatever's happening. It's not like these are intended to be award winning videos. I recorded the final out of both WS wins from my seats, as well as seat cushion night in 2006. I love having those moments captured from exactly where I was at the time, and doing so took nothing away from the experience.

The sentiment about people recording their own reactions only, yeah that's a bit odd. Especially when you're a fat [expletive] standing in a dorm room with an orange Abercrombie shirt on. But whatever.

I do like watching the videos of other people freaking out about it. Almost as much as I like the videos of Rangers fans moaning in despair.

Ok so I got this in today:
[SHOW]
Image
And I'm taking it to get framed tomorrow. The guy that frames it can die cut words into the matting. I can't decide what to get.

2011 World Champs
That's a Winner
11 in 11 (don't really want to do this one)
2011 World Series (on top) Game 6 (on bottom)
Leroy

Any other suggestions?

I'd get
"They just won't go away." Joe Buck (larger font)
St. Louis Cardinals 2011 World Series Champions (smaller font)

What about part of one of the triple or HR calls?

"We will see you tomorrow night!"

"Hello, Game Seven!"

"There's gonna be baseball here in St. Louis, Game 7, tomorrow night!"
