I can't purchase Cardinals.tv because I do not live in their viewing area. (I know someone with a Cardinals.tv account and tried logging in to see if it would work; it does not. Apparently if you have Cardinals.tv and travel into another city and there is a local blackout you are screwed on that as well)
So I have MLBTV but am blacked out of Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Reds. Although I can buy Reds.TV, Guardians.TV and subscribe to Pittsburgh Sportsnet to have access to the local broadcasts. Not doing that of course.
