I don't think I've ever heard a remodeler say prices are decreasing. There's one guy on youtube who has like a million subs who always tells people prices are going up within the next few months on this or that, whether it was during the pandemic or during Trump's spree. But usually stuff that does go up is due to a specific shock in the chain like plywood or resin outlet boxes a few years back.
