The life and murder of Stella Walsh, intersex olympic champion.
It's an incredible story, and one that resonates today, involving murder, gender, Nazism, the corruption of the IOC, a bitter athletic rivalry, and the still-unsettled question of how society and sports should treat people who are born of indeterminate gender.

And oldie but goodie that I think of whenever there's a major tennis tournament going. "Roger Federer as Religious Experience" by David Foster Wallace.

All about Sam Altman, who is the guy running the company Y Combinator in Silicon Valley. It's kind of a school for startups. It's insanely hard to get into and they pay you to go there (fund your startup). They get 7% equity in your company when you graduate. They've launched companies worth $80 billion today. It's about how this thing is radically changing Silicon Valley. Altman grew up in St. Louis FWIW.
