ESPN U reporting Collin's mother has confiscated his LOI he signed to play at Arkansas so he can't fax it in. Stories like this are awesome.

12:40 Update: Corey Long reported on ESPN that Collins' mom has upstaged his signing ceremony and is refusing to let him sign his letter of intent to Arkansas. In fact, she cannot even be found.

"The papers are not there. I've been told by two different sources that Alex Collins' mom confiscated the papers and took off and ran with them. They are looking for her currently. From what I understand, Alex is not at the school right now, he is looking for his mom. She was quite torn up about him leaving."

I wish the LOIs of some of our commitments had been confiscated.

Honestly don't know which is more shady, the mother or his HS coach.

Agree 100%. Setting up 98% of them for a very hard fall.

This was a fascinating story from a couple of years ago. Kid from a Nevada high school dreamed of an offer to play big time college football. It didn't happen, so he made one up.
