I would be feeling more confident if the Braves were playing a team with a pulse, not the Mets.

Seems like every time a scenario like this relies on the Mets beating some other team for us, it doesn't happen.

Personal opinion here but I believe if the mets played in the nlc they would be in first... Record is not bad in a tough division and playing much better than anyone thought they would

Well, the Mets did us no favors tonight - and we now have to sweep to have any sort of chance whatsoever. 2 out of 3 won't do it.

4 1/2 out of the wild card with two weeks to go. If only the Mets had won either or both of those makeup games on Thursday. Even with their DH sweep that day, though, the Braves are something like 5-10 while we've gone 12-4 since the Dodger series.

If we go 14-2 the rest of the way, and Atlanta goes 8-7, we're in.
