Re: Question about who to drop, pickup, etc
So Romo goes down, I got Ryan on my bench but he's on bye.
Drop Chris Ivory or Romo for a start this week?
McNabb, Cassel, Bradford (Carolina) and Fitzpatrick are a few names out there - I dint think I can really go wrong.

Re: Question about who to drop, pickup, etc
Makes a lot of sense. I was leaning towards Fitz and Dal anyways. I drafted the Dal D, expecting them to be top 5. I also dropped Woodhead and picked up V Jax. He should be back for the stretch, and with Austin now an unknown, hes worth a flier.
I like ICE's point about KC being way ahead, especially with their awesome running game, but yeah, McN, Fitz and Brad are about even to me.vinsanity wrote:So Romo goes down, I got Ryan on my bench but he's on bye.

Is Romo worth holding on to? Will Ryan be ok for the rest of the season? Or will one of those on the WW be better.
Now with McFadden MoJo and Jackson, I almost wonder if I need to go get a QB

Difficult to tell. At best he's back 1-2 weeks before the fantasy playoffs, but if Dallas is quickly eliminated, I doubt they would play him again this year. I'd seriously consider dropping Romo for a Fitz or someone.vinsanity wrote:Is Romo worth holding on to? Will Ryan be ok for the rest of the season? Or will one of those on the WW be better.

Re: Question about who to drop, pickup, etc
It's a 12 team league, which is how I'm somehow 4-4 with such a bad team.
QB-Palmer (CIN)
RB-Turner (ATL)
RB-Wells (ARI)
WR-Fitzgerald (ARI)
WR-Marshall (MIA)
RB/WR-Manningham (NYG)
TE-Miller (OAK)
K-Hartley (NO)
DST-Pittsburgh
QB-Bradford (STL)
RB-Smith (DET)
RB-Torain (WAS)
WR-Amendola (STL)
WR-Branch (NE)
I put Marshall on the trading block for some RB help. He's a good candidate because everyone thinks he's awesome because he's a big name but he sure hasn't done much for me. Some guy just offered me Dustin Keller for Marshall straight up. Marshall has one touchdown on the year last time I checked, and Keller is a beast. I guess I could use TE help, but I really want to pick up a RB. There are plenty of TE out there, but there are absolutely no RBs. I picked up Kevin Smith and just dropped C. Williams (TB). Should I accept that trade? Should I demand a RB for Marshall?
Also, do I need to pick up a QB? I was thinking of dropping Branch (banged up and hasn't done anything since his debut) and picking up Garrard. EDIT- Nevermind, I just dropped Bradford and picked up Freeman.

Don't take Keller. He's not much of an upgrade over Miller. Get a RB.TGantz wrote:It's a 12 team league, which is how I'm somehow 4-4 with such a bad team.

Re: Question about who to drop, pickup, etc
I've made a few moves since I posted this a few minutes ago. I dropped Bradford and picked up Freeman. I dropped Branch and picked up Cooley (Miller has a bye next week but he's a pretty good TE so I don't want to drop him). Now I'm going to try to trade Marshall and Wells for an elite RB and weak WR.

Torain was a nice RB2 before the injury. Get Keiland Williams if he's out there.

Yeah he was. Who would I drop to get Williams? Portis might be coming back soon BTW.JCShutout wrote:Torain was a nice RB2 before the injury. Get Keiland Williams if he's out there.

Yeah, I guess you can't really drop anyone else right now.TGantz wrote:Yeah he was. Who would I drop to get Williams? Portis might be coming back soon BTW.JCShutout wrote:Torain was a nice RB2 before the injury. Get Keiland Williams if he's out there.
