Have you guys seen the.......XBOX 360 ELITE it looks awesome, has HDMI, 120 gig HD, but still no built in HD dvd player....and it's Black with a Black Controller for 80 bucks more, could be worth it, I might do it since I have the best buy warranty on mine

If I were buying a 360 for the first time, I'd get the Elite.

As it is, it doesn't have enough to warrant me buying it to replace my launch console. It may later this year when the HDMI will likely make setup for me much easier after I move.

I've seen a lot of people getting confused a bit on what HDMI does for you. Theoretically, your picture could be better using it but in real life application most people find the image is the same as it is with component (and, occasionally, worse). It does allow you to carry audio and video in one cord with one plug, which is quite handy.

The extra HD space is helpful for those who store a lot of music on their 360's. It will also help with MS's plans for downloading HD movies from Live. It's still overpriced.

I do like the black finish, though.

Game update:

Game 1 Brodie and I played Cards vs. Cards.

I went Carp he had Wainwright.

I had a Duncan RBI single early, then a Yadier solo HR and a Scotty 2 homerun and a Jimmy solo HR late. My Carpenter was electric, complete game shutout!

5-0 final, sorry Brodie:-)

We'll do it again when you find your headset!

I called Jimmy's homerun before it happened, I thought it was Jimmy who homered, but it was scotty, then Jimmy homered

It was a good close game till the end, My pitching imploded
