Same. Now I look forward to losing just because something is new.stlouie_lipp wrote:

The covered version doesn't have to be official. Far from it. Feel free to record a video of yourself on your iPhone covering "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" and submit that.Tambourine Man wrote:Yeah, I will vote for a good cover I've never heard over anything well-known. Yes, we all know that Johnny Cash's "Hurt" and Jimi's "All Along the Watchtower" are masterpieces. I for one am going to be voting for the interesting gems, bizarre re-interpretations, and rethought versions that make you reconsider something about the original that you may have missed before.
I only ask that the song being covered have had an official commercial release/recording.

If this becomes another debate over what type of music people should like and why they are wrong if they don't agree, I'll rage quit.

That would win for sure, I think. Well, not me. But someone that could actually do that.Swirls wrote:The covered version doesn't have to be official. Far from it. People saying someone is wrong and stupid if they don't agree never happens at GRB....Swirls wrote:It better not.AWvsCBsteeeerike3 wrote:If this becomes another debate over what type of music people should like and why they are wrong if they don't agree, I'll rage quit.
