I hope the results of our tournie don't just match, like, the top 10 Rolling Stone listicle of all time greatest covers. Yes, we all know that Johnny Cash's "Hurt" and Jimi's "All Along the Watchtower" are masterpieces. I for one am going to be voting for the interesting gems, bizarre re-interpretations, and rethought versions that make you reconsider something about the original that you may have missed before.

Yeah, I will vote for a good cover I've never heard over anything well-known. I'm having trouble pulling official recordings.

The covered version doesn't have to be official. Far from it. Feel free to record a video of yourself on your iPhone covering "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" and submit that.

I only ask that the song being covered have had an official commercial release/recording.
