I don't know why I never watched The Larry Sanders Show, but it's pretty great.

Boardwalk Empire's finale was...unexpected.

I really liked the character, so that sucks. Hopefully with Jimmy dead they keep Richard and maybe give Capone, Luciano, Rothstein etc more time. Nucky turning mega heel is a good step for his character, but he still isn't very interesting. Margaret is an awful character so hopefully he kills her after she sells him out with the land deal. I really enjoy the more straight forward gangster stuff. I don't like the relationship tug of war between Nucky and Margaret.

Seriously, this is like killing off a more badass Christopher in the second season of the Sopranos.

That's a big part of why I liked it. With the Sopranos background, the Darmody/Nucky relationship always struck me as the new Tony/Christopher (but, as you say, more badass).

Read this interview. It's killer. You nailed it about the other gangsters:

Van Alden is in Cicero now, right "in Capone's backyard". As for Margaret, her whole storyline sucks and bogged down a lot of the season for me. It was an awesome season and all of the Darmody stuff was fantastic. All of the "Margaret's Catholic guilt makes her behave really irrationally" part sucked.
Good stuff in that link.

The Agent Sebso rap from Boardwalk, performed by the guy who actually played Agent Sebso:

He got the Sebso role after doing so well with "one line on The Sopranos".

Boardwalk Empire is awesome.

I hate to see Jimmy go. He was a great charcter. But it was great TV how it unfolded. Rothstein, Nucky, and Torrio are great. Even the new Jewish guy, played awesomely by John Forsythe, he's a great addition. The Tony/Chris comparison's are accurate. It had to be Nucky that took him out. Still, I wasn't expecting it.

Too bad that wasn't the final scene of the season. They ended w/ Margaret, going back to being an absolute NUT JOB! She needs to go. What an idiot. I'm sure the Pujols family are the only people that can understand her actions this season.

Dexter Season Finale:
[SHOW]
Well, about time! Deb knows. Well, unless she buys into that this was just a one time thing, but she's a good detective and will figure that out, if Dexc tries to hide it. Anyway, so pissed they simply ended it w/ her seeing him kill Doomsday. Give us more than the, "Oh, Sh*t!" moment!
