I thought Edmonds was (censored) done with the Cardinals.Socnorb11 wrote:Well, it would be like Albert Pujols & Jim Edmonds splitting MVP votes during their heyday, while Andruw Jones was clearly the best player on the Braves team. Are there stats involved? If there are, I will need to bow out of the conversation.....Socnorb11 wrote:Well, it would be like Albert Pujols & Jim Edmonds splitting MVP votes during their heyday, while Andruw Jones was clearly the best player on the Braves team. It just seemed you all were saying the Republicans were hard on the middle class. Ron Paul was for no income tax. Period. Yet, his conservative viewpoints on abortion, guns, social issues, etc kept a lot of liberals from liking him. If he had Obama's views on abortion and the environment, I for one would be in heaven. And, I think a lot of people would be as well.GatewaySnayke wrote:What do you mean?AWvsCBsteeeerike3 wrote:Why we can't get someone with Ron Paul's views on the economy and Obama's views on the environment and abortion in one person is beyond me.GatewaySnayke wrote:This is an excellent point, PP. While I acknowledge keeping money in your pocket is only part of the deal, they convince these people that they'll actually save money by having them elected. It's a great sales job, really.

She sounded good, I agree. She gave a compelling speech. However, it was kind of like Tressel giving a speech to OSU before they play Michigan. It wasn't really hard to get everyone fired up.Diddy wrote:after watching last nights procedings im as excited as ive been about the GOP in along time. Though, yes, she did present herself very well.
