I don't know why the deal with it meme kills me, but I don't think it will ever get old to me. Usually at this point in a meme lifecycle I've gotten bored with it, but that one keeps on making me laugh.

Count me in the minority here (and it may be because I watched it on mute) but the rainbow gun unicorn fight scene was very enjoyable to watch. Very B-Movie Sci-Fi-ish with a twinge of satire. Ke$ha was totally making fun of herself in this, IMO, and that's a lot more noble than say a Lady Gaga that takes herself completely seriously while wearing raw meat. It seems Ke$ha knows her shelf-life and is trying to play off of that (see also, Vitamin C).

Boo. You're high. There was nothing meta going on at all, it was just plain dumb.

Ke$ha's supposed to be pretty intelligent, so i wouldn't put it past her to put on a self-parody show. I would say both this and We R Who We R kind of have that vibe. Who knows, maybe she even gets a kick out of throwing out outrageous music video ideas and her producers gobbling it up.

I thought they were both spoofing themselves, like when Vander Douche calls her "Ke dollar sign ha." I have to admit I got a good chuckle out of that stupid video. I bet her freckles were too much for ICE to handle.

I thought that was pretty funny. She seemed in on it, and Van der Dead is definitely aware of meta commentary. 1.5 thumbs up.
