Looks like Pitchfork is going down. I don’t like how and why it happened, or what it says about the bleak landscape of journalism. However, it’s a site for an Internet of 20 years ago when it was fun and not transparently toxic to jerk off about how lame and stupid everyone was when all you really had until that time was Rolling Stone and MTV. (Kind of like Deadspin and ESPN/Sports Radio.) Often and at its worst Pitchfork was just a place for critics to condescend and flex their superior tastes.
Much more concerned and upset about Bandcamp seeing a similar fate a few months ago.

Being a long time punk rock fan, I was 'stoked' when the Cardinals signed Scott Radinsky.
He was the frontman for Pulley, a favorite punk band of mine.
Unfortunately, he was at the end of his baseball career and didn't contribute much.
I'm going to be forced to listen to this new Taylor Swift album (all fifteen seeming hours of it) for the rest of my natural life.
I want you to know I'm here for you if you need someone to talk to.
In honor of our bard, we should only converse in vague metaphors and tortured cliches.

Does Taylor have any new songs on this album about how she doesn’t care at all about haters? I’m just 10-15 more of these songs away from believing her.
In less ‘music is one person and she’s dating a tight end’ news, Neil Young is back on Spotify.
