First Blues Stanley Cup win comes via a #4 wearing d-man scoring an OT goal.

The relentless play leading to the turnovers and ultimately the penalty was fantastic. They earned this win.

Re: Stanley Cup Finals 2019: Blues v. Bruins
Got to watch with my Dad from Enterprise Center. I can't believe I saw a Blues Stanley Cup Final win. I screamed like a small child, with my voice reaching registers it hasn't since certain things dropped decades ago. I jumped. I actually cried a little... at Enterprise Center, amidst 16000 screaming people.
So glad to be wrong. The Blues controlled most of the play. Binny let up a bad first goal. Gotta keep your stick on the ice. I mentioned to my Dad that Binny seemed "off" early in the 1st on some small play. The 2nd goal wasn't his fault because a Bruin was left alone in front for 12 minutes and if you deke enough, a hole will open, but I think if Binny isn't "off", he doesn't get beat 5 hole twice. To his credit, he found a way to refocus and was excellent the rest of the game. As usual, mentally tough.
When the Blues scored their first, I was happy, then sad when Boston answered right back. When Tank tied it, I was only relieved as I thought Boston was controlling the play. HELL of a 2nd effort by Tarasenko.
Blues controlled/borderlone dominated the 2nd, and controlled the 3rd, though Boston had their chances. Binny made an AMAZING save to get the game to OT in the waining minutes.
When the Blues hit the post with about 3 minutes to go in the 3rd, the whole building thought it went it. The building erupted, I grabbed and hugged my Dad almost knocking him off his feat, then looked back and play was still going, and continued for like 90 seconds or something before a whistle gave us a chance to see the replay. They had to go on the loudspeaker warning fans to not throw things on the ice or risk immediate ejection.
So I was wrong. The Blues showed they can play with Boston, and can control the play... and they did so without two important guys. In fact, if Dunn plays, Gunnarson is probably scratched.
Going home 1-1. Finally got off the SCF donut. I love being wrong!

Nice win...didn't see the highlights until this morning; I was passed out well before the game ended last night.
