This was the win probability graph for that Packers/Seahawks game. Packers had a 99.9% chance of winning.

I think I'd rather see this:pioneer98 wrote:I don't care on iota who wins. I will be rooting again like I always do for an absolute blowout. I want someone to win by 30, 40, or more. I want one of the teams to be embarrassed. I don't care who. Last year's Super Bowl was my favorite in a long, long time.

It's so weird. I think when I was a kid I actually thought gate was some sort of suffix. I knew what the Watergate scandal was, but not that it was named after a hotel.Jocephus wrote:by the way, deflategate is this controversy. i love how we work "gate" into everything

Right. I want to be entertained. Give me a good game.

I'm just mad at the horizontal scaling on that graph...can anyone get their collective [expletive] together on graphs?!Schlich wrote:Are you [expletive] kidding me.pioneer98 wrote:This was the win probability graph for that Packers/Seahawks game. Packers had a 99.9% chance of winning.

I bet they did it by plays and then the grid went up afterwards to mark where the various quarters ended.TimeForGuinness wrote:I'm just mad at the horizontal scaling on that graph...can anyone get their collective [expletive] together on graphs?!

According to that graph, Seattle is currently at about 80% which is a neat trick since the game is over.pioneer98 wrote:This was the win probability graph for that Packers/Seahawks game. Packers had a 99.9% chance of winning.

If we end up with like a 24-10 score or something it will be boring and not memorable in the way a 45-10 thrashing would be memorable.
