They're saying TRob will be bought out by Denver. You'd think there are some character issues there but that really never appeared to be the case.

He put together a few nice games for us but couldn't ever stay in the rotation. He has some skills but I think he may be a bit of a dummy. Pretty surprised Denver wouldn't want to give him 20 minutes a night for a couple weeks at least.

Why would Shaw give him a chance, when he can keep trotting out the same mediocre veterans that have lost 13 of the last 15 games?


The Nuggets are a disaster, and did nothing over the trade deadline to progress toward not being a disaster. Sure, they got a late 1st round 2016 pick from Portland, but then they gave away a 1st rounder just to dump JaVale McGee, rather than just let his contract play out for a year and a half.

The good news for the Nuggets is that they haven't fired Shaw yet, so there's still a chance that they could play poorly enough to get into the lottery.


Edit: More to your point, MrSaigon, word out of the Denver camp is that T-Rob requested the buyout. The Nuggets have boatloads of front court bodies, so Robinson is more likely to get playing time on a different team. Basically did him a favor.

Getting smacked by the Jazz is an aberration but I'll tell you this: Rudy Gobert isn't just the best nickname in bball. He is a legit defender. Twice this year he's limited LA as well as anyone ever.
