Re: The Beer Thread
Shameless plug/advertisement, although it seems quite applicable to the beer discussion, especially for those of us who like buying craft beer in growler form:

I'd copy and paste the main picture on here, but I'm not that smart.

Re: The Beer Thread
I have Left Hand Sawtooth Ale and I am mixing it with their Milk Stout ...And in my situation*, the sum is greater than the parts
*technically I would rather have 12 Milk Stouts and zero Sawtooths. But this is salvaging the sawtooths from languishing in the fridge.
Anybody mix beers together?

Re: The Beer Thread
My friend the bartender makes what he calls a Mizzou rally beer, which is basically a black and tan (or black and gold in this case) made from Schnickelfritz and the 4 Hands Chocolate Milk Stout.
It's an interesting mix. And Mizzou scored after I drank it, so it can't be all that bad. But I wouldn't want one very often.

Checked out the newest tasting room in town. Really interesting beers but $$ for not a lot of beer.

I don't know that place. The guy from Side Project who has been getting a ton of buzz opened a place in Maplewood.

Re: The Beer Thread
I'm new to this thread so please pardon me if this has been discussed already, but did anyone get in on the Synek kickstarter? This thing is way cooler than the pressurized growler and it is made in St. Louis. I bought one and can't wait for it to hopefully deliver sometime in the spring.Swirls wrote:Shameless plug/advertisement, although it seems quite applicable to the beer discussion, especially for those of us who like buying craft beer in growler form:
