how did he convince them this was music? absolutely no change in tone between any buttocks and really doesn't seem to sync well with the music imo.

That reminds me of a live album by Jim McCann, an Irish musician I like, where he asks the audience to clap along with the rhythm, and, in response to a lackluster effort on the audience's part, he says, "sounds like fifty nudists sitting down on a marble slab." Funnier, but less creepily titillating.
