What? Were Jenna Fischer's looks a compelling reason for you to watch the show?

Prime Suspect was intriguing. Good, strong female lead. Realistic Brooklyn cops. I liked the politics behind the cases. But, I'm sure NBC will screw it up just like they do all their dramas. Plus, the scene where she got her ass handed to her and needed the big, strong men to come rescue her really took away from the whole point, I thought.

That show has already fallen right I to stereotypical network TV cop drama....didn't she say something to the effect of 'just another day at the office' when asked about her bruises?

Always Sunny has such a varied fanbase. I love episodes other people highly dislike, vice versa, etc. Most people seem to think that the second episode was a as good as the first for this season. I didn't really like it at all. Mac and Frank on the lifeboat was the funniest spot.

Loaded a bunch of stuff onto my tablet for upcoming travel use. If I can get the janky Netflix app to work on it (it's really glitchy with the modded android OS I have on it), it'll make things even better. So many shows I want to really start from the beginning.

Did you watch it? I was interested, but was out last night and forgot to DVR. I bet it's OnDemand. It's Abrams and Ben Linus. I'll definitely give it a shot.

Is this a remake of the British Prime Suspect with Helen Mirren?

Yep. I've said for years we need more cop shows here. Looks like the tide is turning.

Though Maria Bello is starring, so that's a point in it's favor.

Yeah I did. I'm a fan of Caviezel and I think the other main guy was in the Saw movies.

It's an interesting concept for a show but it was hard warming up to the two main characters.

I'll watch it again. It was kind of violent, it was unpredictable (it went in a totally different direction than where it was leading you, in this episode).

I'm not a big television fan, so I am not the best person to listen to.

I just finished up Sons of Anarchy, Season 2. Read back and saw some complaints that it was like GTA in terms of plot, which is weird because I thought that about Season 1 and this one was a huge improvement and more restrained in terms of the random violence.
[SHOW]
Everything more or less happened for a good reason and I thought that the couple of episodes where everyone reconciled were really ballsy from a writers point of view. Whereas a show like Dexter would milk those stories for seasons, they just settled the majority of them in a believable and interesting way, and 2 episodes prior to the finale of only the second season.

Also, there's not a bad regular on the show. One of the better overall casts in recent memory. FX is littered with Deadwood veterans.

I am a little concerned about this kidnapping plotline for Season 3.
