Maybe a starter could get more than 15 outs one of these days.

Cardinals get their 19th road victory and improve to 13-17 in day games. Relief pitchers for both teams factor into the decisions. Svanson gets the win and is 2-1 and Lawrence takes the loss for the Twins and he drops to 0-3 on the season. The Cardinals are now 15-14 against the American League.

Rubber game tomorrow as the Cardinals try to take the series.

O’Brien needs to be replaced. That isn’t Ghost of Izzy, walking the bases loaded is just dumb.

Yeah you aren't allowed to pitch yourself into a save situation. If the lead is 3 runs or less when you enter the game you can earn the save; or if you finish a game and preserve the lead by throwing 3+ innings.

Cardinals offense has shown up both games in Minnesota so far. The pitching has been a little more shaky. Soriano in game 1 and Svanson in game 2 were bright spots.

Game 1 scored eight runs with a homer by Burleson

Game 2 scored nine runs with 4 homers; 2 by Ivan Herrera, 1 by Jordan Walker and 1 by Blaze Jordan.
