The Lakers may not be allowed to trade for or sign Paul George, and it's maybe because of this dumbass interview with Jimmy Kimmel.

Kyrie for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder and Brooklyn's unprotected 2018 pick.

I like Kyrie, but that's quite a haul!

Yeah. Rare NBA superstar trade where both teams get close to equal value. Contingent on that pick, of course, but that's a pretty good bet.

About how I feel. Could tip slightly for Boston because NBA trades in general to me = whoever got the best player won the deal. Could tip for the Cavs depending on where the Nets pick falls (I think it's a valuable asset, but I don't expect them to be worst team in the NBA anymore.) I do give the Cavs credit for getting what they wanted in a Kyrie trade: another star, a solid wing, and a first round pick.

Will be something if the Cavs get Bagley or MPJ with that pick.

Kyrie's only 25. Not a very good chance that anyone CLE gets in this trade ends up being as good as Kyrie is now.

A DeWitt joke.
