Wow - two goals in under 4 minutes? 2-1 good guys. I'm following along online and not seeing it. How did the uSA get the 2nd goal?

Beauty of a corner kick. Headed in niceky by Brooks.US Had nothing going whatsoever until that corner, which made it all the more stunning

Wow - they did it! 2-1 final. How big is this win for US? Historic? I obviously don't follow closely.

It certainly looked like the US got 'outplayed' and I'd guess Ghana had a 2:1 time of possession advantage. But....was that not part of the plan? I mean, they scored in the opening minute, and then again 4 minutes after giving up the tie goal. From my untrained eye, it looked like, when they had the lead, they were content to just jam the middle full of defenders and make it so crowded Ghana really couldn't go on a run. How many shots did Ghana take from 25 yards out? Seemingly a ton. If that wasn't by design, then I don't know what I'm talking about.

But, yeah, it's just crazy to say a team that led 90% of the time got outplayed even though you could certainly make that case. Anyway, it's good that they scored seemingly at will. That corner was a beauty. Absolutely what I love to see. Just a head high bender away from the goalie right into the middle of the box. Perfect. There was one a little before that where had the bald guy not given up on it and/or put a foot on it, he likely would have scored. Frustrating.

Also, the US looks like a short team. Man, it seemed like Ghana got every head ball toss up.

Beating Germany would be historic, but this was a nice win.
