Since my last post we found out the mother of my wife's best friend has brain cancer, sounds like not much time left. Such a sweet lady.

[expletive] cancer is right.

A 25 year old girl in my town has cancer for the second time. This time is sounds like it's really not good. Basically they are trying an experimental treatment because the regular stuff didn't work. I feel so bad for her and her family. I don't know her personally but everyone always says how nice she is. Hate to hear it and hope she can pull through.

My cousin has cancer again. He had cancer in his jaw. He had to have surgery to remove it and that kind of messed up his face a bit so he's been a bit conscious about that. He did chemo and radiation and everything they could do and it looked like things may be improving. Well then he started having trouble seeing. Turns out he had a tumor on his brain. So repeat everything and hey doing alright again. Now though two months later he's been in a lot of pain and he just found out Friday that his cancer has spread to his spine. He told us today. He's had a rough go and it doesn't sound like the prognosis here is good. Not sure what his next step is but he's a tough son of gun so he'll go down fighting.

He was not a tobacco user. He rarely drank even. He's a farmer so we deal with some nasty stuff and I can't help but wonder if that's one of those weird flukes that you get some odd cancer because of the chemicals. My uncle got a really rare form of Leukemia and it was blamed on Ammonia Anhydrous.

Thanks guys. Today's doctor appointment didn't go well for him. The doctor told him he'd only have a couple months to live. My uncle is absolutely devastated. Sadly that's a feeling I know all to well.
