I like both of those ideas. The Lemp Brewery site would also be convenient for me but I really like the North Side location. I have a friend who's family owns a little restaurant right by Crown Candy so it would definitely be good for their business!

Obviously everything is about me and people I know! I really just haven't put much thought into possible stadium locations but I like your ideas. I do think Metrolink access is a huge thing no matter where the stadium goes. That's how I'd get to and from games.

This is a very very good domestic based squad in that everyone is listed at their actual position bar Zusi and I feel it represents the best mix of potential and production MLS has to offer (because the European leagues are in-season, January camp is always almost exclusively MLS players). I would swap Roldan for Pontius but I'm biased for sounders. Zusi as a defender is an eyebrow raiser but January camp is where you do this kind of experimental stuff, not qualifiers or tournaments (Jurgen).

Don't think Beasley or Wondo and some others make a full squad camp but I'm very satisfied with this roster. Looks like Brad Evans is a right back full time now with club and country.

Intrigued by Manneh, Frei and Bingham. Manneh is lightning fast and our goalkeeper situation isn't dire, but it's pretty close. We haven't developed the generation behind our current #1 for the first time since the mid-80's. Guzan is fine, but he's not the kind of #1 we've come to expect from the US over the last 25 years. Frei is on good form and people who know more than me love Bingham, so we'll see. Excited by Nagbe and Feilhaber being back in the mix.

Zusi as a defender could be absolutely brilliant.

All of them are playing overseas, right?

Two of those four are among the best players the US has - Pulisic and Wood. Yedlin is at worst a potential significant contributor. Don't know enough about Green to comment. Surely Arena will have Pulisic, Wood, and these international players in the mix when we start hex competition. They just can't be in camp with us right now.

They're all with their clubs. It's not a FIFA date, so clubs don't release their players, so traditionally it's been an opportunity for the coach to bring in all MLS guys or guys who's club situations are unsettled and take some chances and experiment. All of those guys you mentionedwith the exception of maybe Green and the addition of Fab Johnson and John Brooks are probably automatic starters.

Green just moved to Stuttgart, btw, which should be good for him. We'll see if he can deliver.
