Caught more of the celebrity game than I'd care to admit between trips to the garage (goddam Volvo). But there were a couple points of interest for me. Shoni Schimmel was born and raised on an Oregon Indian Reservation. Having worked with NA youth here, it's so nice to see such a positive thing come out of there. But I'll be honest, I've never seen anything beyond highlights of her.
I also wanted to see Arcade Fire Guy go. Good hands, he clearly knows how to play. Much better than I was expecting. Just not athletic at all. I listened to the first few albums (it's probably time to catch up), but I don't know anything about him. I just figured he'd view all-star weekend as a jewel in the unfettered free market crown of American exploitation and why isn't everyone like Canada? or something. I was surprised and happy to see his name in there. Don't judge a book by his artistic angst I guess.

The problem with dunk contests is that they're running out of material. I mean, there ARE physical limitations to what they can do.
