The Big 12 TV contract is....less than favorable. Mizzou/McNeese St and Mizzou/SDSU didn't make the cut for the limited spots for FSN/Versus and ESPN/ABC, so they went to PPV. This week's game has no TV at all, which means it might be available to stream on Mizzou All-Access(which is a subscription service, but better than $40 PPV).robbotis wrote:Why are Mizzou games only available on pay per view?
Horrible.
I can watch every single Big Ten game yet can't find a ranked team on the tube?

The Post had an article last week downplaying Pay Per View as a lose lose.TheoSqua wrote:$$$$$robbotis wrote:Why are Mizzou games only available on pay per view?

Nobody really makes much off pay per view. The Big 12 needs to get this contract situation bettered. I'm sick of having every horrible Big 10 game on.

Yeah, the only people who really profit from PPV games are places like Buffalo Wild Wings.robbotis wrote:The Post had an article last week downplaying Pay Per View as a lose lose.TheoSqua wrote:$$$$$robbotis wrote:Why are Mizzou games only available on pay per view?

Just watched the condensed replay. Mizzou, and Gabbert, did not look good at all.

Miami OH this weekend is another team that isn't a pushover. They are 2-1 and gave Florida a scare the first week until the Gators pulled away late. We need to get our [expletive] together and start playing better on both sides of the ball heading into the bye week and then conference play. Colorado is more competitive than most expected and then it's the toughest stretch of the season.

I bet we win both by 3 TDs each. Miami's scare into Florida involved them getting 212 total yards and no touchdowns. Colorado did beat Hawaii but got smacked to oblivion by Cal, and the Pinkel v. Hawkins matchup has yielded an average of a 5 Touchdown Mizzou victory.cardsfansince82 wrote:Miami OH this weekend is another team that isn't a pushover. It seems like every year, we hear that it's the year that Colorado is finally going to turn it around for whatever reason. And every year, they get a little worse, to the point that they're down around Iowa St. among the Big XII's dregs. I guess I'll believe it when I see it.

Re: Mizzou football 2010
Colorado has multiple first rounders on their offensive line and decent running backs. And Hawkins finally admitted his son couldn't cut it which can only help. If Mizzou is crisp on offense it won't matter. I'm not predicting them to lose either game, I just want to see some improvement before we run the gauntlet.

I will be there pulling for the boys in red and hoping some way, somehow, they can miraculously pull out a victory!cardsfansince82 wrote:Miami OH this weekend is another team that isn't a pushover.
