I played BF, BF2, and BF2142 on the PC, but I went console for the latest generation. Assuming they didn't remove options, I think the PC version is still better, if only for the ease of squad commands/communication, but the PS3 version is still pretty sweet. Just unlocked a sniper scope that alerts my team whenever I sight an enemy. Racking up the points just getting spot assists.Maclowery wrote:I play it pretty often on my PC and love it. Finally unlocked all the way to the m16a2 for my assault guy. I believe I mentioned earlier that I much prefer hardcore mode. I havent played a non-HC match in weeks. It's much more exciting to me.

I was pleasantly surprised by Portal. Some of the challenges after you beat the initial game look like an exercise in frustration, but I'd love to see more puzzle/logic games like that.
I wrapped up H3 on legendary solo last night and the "Cortana" level is probably the most miserable gaming experience I've ever had. It's the worst example of game design in the entire series.

I found a guy selling the Dingoo, and I thought to myself "I watched most of that Ice Cube girl quarterback movie the other day, I have some time for this." So I payed about $60 for it. It's like having a NES, SNES, Genesis and GBA in my pocket. Aside from the Wii, those systems are about as far as my gamermanship ever progressed anyway. I have to play around with the speed settings a bit, and the emulations for the SNES and the Genesis especially, aren't perfect, but I'm really happy with it.

I wouldn't have it any other way.
