I didn't much care for/appreciate the album until I saw them perform it in concert. Then, I "got" it. Still not one I will listen to much, but was a vastly different experience live.
In Rainbows may just be my favorite Radiohead album. I mean, there are like five that could hold that honor on any given day, but it seems like this one holds it more days than the others.
Sheeeeeeeeeeeeit partner, I got tickets WELL over a year ago for a RATM show that is now happening next May, and almost two years ago for an Elton John show now happening next March.
ZZ Top bassist and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Dusty Hill dead at 72
Dusty Hill, bassist and secondary lead vocalist for legendary Southern blues-rock trio ZZ Top, has died, according to a post on the band’s official Facebook page by his bandmates of the past 52 years, Billy Gibbons and Frank Beard. Hill was 72 years old.
"We are saddened by the news today that our Compadre, Dusty Hill, has passed away in his sleep at home in Houston, Texas,” read the band’s statement.
