I about gagged on it. It's terrible. It tastes and smells like someone put a few drops of perfume in it.
Going to have to agree with Jim here. Beer that tastes like flowers is awful. Most tripels dubbels farmhaus styles, I can't handle-because of the damn flowers. It doesn't matter who makes them. For me, it's the Miracle Whip of beers.

RE: Goose Island
Surely they have some decent beer at their tap-house, maybe even the Bourbon. But I have an issue with Goose Island using its corporate gusto to crowd out bar/restaurant beer selections with so many of their mediocre-to-bad corporate beers, that I abstain from Goose Island altogether.

I know I am in the minority here when I say that Miller Lite is my "go to", everyday beer. But I think it is cool to be drinking one of these tonight:

I always buy Tecate if I'm watching a boxing match.

I will drink all those beers, and maybe even a Krapftig before a Goose Island 312

GI 312 is terrible. I think they put soap in it.

It's cheap up here too, I used to drink it more than I do. I should get some next time I'm out of cheap stuff. I always have a fridge stocked with a mix of one cheapo (PBR/Tecate or on rare occasions Bud) and one or more other type of beer. The beer that I get the most bang for the buck for - meaning it is imo a major step up with a small price increment - is Sam Adams Boston Lager. I had 3-4 last night, and several more in the fridge.
