Well, none of the cats we have now grew up w/Molly the wonder dog so I honestly don't know how they would do around a dog. If/when we get one we will start w/a puppy; someone they can boss around for a little while

You probably figured out the act, because the Galoot wouldn't hurt a domesticated flea. Bunnies, squirrels, & ducks are what he goes after.

....Now Mr. Fuzzypants is the type of dog you're cats would have to watch.

Here's three of the 12 week old pups my friend rescued from E. St. Louis a few weeks ago, now available for adoption. They were found freezing and starving (literally having chewed the tops off white buckets on the lot).

Check out where they were found, Swirls. You can see the white buckets they were eating and vomiting up after being rescued. Originally so distrustful and now warming up to humans.

It's settled: Obie the obese dachshund will stay with foster mom

After months of back and forth in a doggie custody battle, Obie the obese dachshund finally has a permanent home. Foster mom Nora Vanatta will get to keep the portly pooch, whom she’s helped diet down from 77 pounds to a healthier 49.

Damnit. Even the Amish are getting in on animal cruelty.

Clyde (WSYR-TV) – Two Amish men – Merlin Schmucker and Jonathon Eicher – are facing animal cruelty charges after police say they killed puppies they couldn’t sell.

Schmucker, 26, of Burch Road, Clyde, and Eicher, 19, of Gansz Road, Lyons, are both facing nine counts of cruelty to animals.

Police say Schmucker asked Eicher to shoot the red heeler puppies when no one bought them.

They say Eicher admitted to killing the puppies with a .22 caliber rifle in December.

A highway crew found some of the dead dogs in a roadside ditch in January, according to State Police.

The two men were released on appearance tickets. They are scheduled to return to court on next month.

My wife used to call on St. Mary's Hospital in ESL for work - she would give me updates about a pack of feral dogs running around.
Some of it was kind of cool, how a big one would pull stuff out of the dumpster for the pack to share... once a pup was about to run into traffic, and one of the bigger dogs grabbed it by the scruff and pulled it back. The clan clearly had an alpha dog that was bad ass over the brood -, which she claims happened to look a lot like our last old dog -alab chow mix- Margie (Sweet Margaret Ann*)
Good golly, she was a good dog. Wild as could be, except when it came to her family.



*All dogs have formal and middle names, don't they?
