Also, if I get on a rocket ship and travel at .5c does that increase or decrease our magic number relative to Cubs perspective?

I don't consider this thread a jinx, but I keep thinking about the Mets. Was it last season or the season before when they blew a six game lead in the division within two weeks to go?

they 'choked' in '07 worse than in '08 but they were terrible both years. The Cubs 'choke' as far as the wild card is concerned was pretty good in '04.
