actually, a Fascist is a person who believes that it's the government's job to regulate the purity of it's people...

sounds a lot like what Palin believes...

I don't mind her having the beliefs that she does, more power to her, but she shouldn't be trying to impose those beliefs in policy (and maybe she isn't, but it sounds like she is....I'm sure she'd be all for banning gay marriage, and I'm sure she'd much rather push abstinence than responsible sex)

Palin and her like probably wouldn't mind if our country was a Christian run country, even if that's not what the founding fathers wanted...

Palin is as extreme to the right as someone like Pelosi is to the left...no argument about it...

so maybe she's not a fascist, but she's walking a fine line if she believes the government should be making policies based upon christian morals...

Wanting Christian morals in policy making is no where near being a Fascist.

While I am not going to say that the GOP is fascist by any means, you didn't really make a very strong argument here. After all, bin Laden is an extreme social conservative, and is supported by a large segment of his people. I don't know about his thoughts on fiscal conservatism.

I'm pretty sure Palin isn't advocating the slaughter of people that don't follow her religion either,if she does,I'm screwed.

Bin Laden said the September 11 attacks were partly because "you separate religion from your policies" so maybe he'll calm down if we get some people in there doing a better job of legislating (religious) morality.

actually, wanting christian morals to be enforced through federal policy is fascism...

and it's what the founding fathers didn't want...

all of these issues are state issues anyway...if a state decides that it wants to ban gay marriage or abortion or drugs, or hell, unmarried sex or birth control or smoking cigarettes or whatever then I'm fine with it...when the federal government does it then it's fascism...

All these comments about states rights are reminding me of the Civil War.
No I am not equating any of the policies or arguments in todays presidential race to the atrocity of slavery.

Note that I did say I am not accusing the far right of being fascist. Just that his argument was a bit flimsy.

I should've used the blue font there Popeye.

I do think everyone should do a little research on what fascism is,because it ain't what some people think it is.
