The Video Game Thread

Okay, this has been bugging me for some reason. Best game of all time: Mario 64 or Grand Theft Auto 3? I suppose this could be a tournament, but since there are only two realistic options I don't see the point.

Mario 64 is my all-time favorite game by a considerable margin.

I preferred Zelda over Mario. GTA Vice City is pretty easily the most enjoyable game I've ever played.

The most unique choice in my top 2 or 3 is Star Wars Rogue Squadron for Nintendo 64. I loved that game. The only flight-based game that ever got it right, IMO.

of those two i'd say mario

but my personal favorite is goldeneye

i would also agree that rogue squadron was a great game

Halo ODST was pretty damn fun for a rental. The campaign had everything there is to love about Halo and I dug the old school style.

No love for Mass Effect 2 from anybody?

Oblivion and Borderlands are both incredible.

I finally gave Mass Effect 1 another chance after not liking it when it came out. I'm halfway through and hooked now, so I'll be picking up 2 soon.

Finished Darksiders and enjoyed it.

Can't wait for Bioshock 2 next week.
