Speaking of inflammatory, it's freaking insulting for you to insinuate that I'm for murder since I'm pro-choice.

Pro-choice = abortion is OK
Haltz = Pro-choice
I can see how the connection is made, wart, whether it was your intention or not.

Not what are you doing here in this thread, what did you mean by what you said?wart57 wrote:I was stating my beliefs like everyone else here hashaltz wrote:Then what is your point?
You say you don't think we should be allowed to kill people ergo no abortion. What position is that a reply to?

Not an assumption, it's an if/then statement.wart57 wrote:So, an assumption was made.Socnorb11 wrote:Abortion = murderwart57 wrote:I never said that. I did not imply that. Wow, if that is the type of logic being used I don't think I need to continue this conversation.jim wrote:Look one post above you.wart57 wrote:Where was it inferred?InvincibleCakeEater wrote:It was inferred.wart57 wrote:I never said that. I agree that Roe v Wade is pretty much a disaster area of an opinion. The "undue burden" standard set forth is precisely what the court should NOT do when determining what is and is not a constitutional, fundamental right. Allowing cases to come up piecemeal to determine whether "x restriction" qualifies as an undue burden just clogs up the courts.stlouie_lipp wrote:To be honest, from a purely legal standpoint Roe v Wade was/is a bad decision. Just as Gore v Bush was a terrible decision (and a case that the Court should have never even heard).
Bush v Gore is also a pretty awful decision, but thankfully it's precedential value is virtually zero, and will probably never be relied upon as support for a later decision even if it technically is never overturned.

I really want to quote the great Will Arnett right now, but I have a feeling the post would be pulled immediately. I assume some of you already know what I'm thinking.

Let me explain something here, If I thought you were a murderer, I would have said so.

Consider it dropped. I'm still wondering what you meant. No one thinks killing people is OK.wart57 wrote:Let me explain something here, If I thought you were a murderer, I would have said so.
When does life start, Wart? When is abortion wrong for you?
EDIT: I've never been pregnant let alone had an abortion BTW.
