So many memories flooding back while reading through old threads. Bathroom etiquette, Meghan McCain, Game 6, hatable coworkers, A.S.S., etc.

This place is a goldmine.

It sucks but it's understandable. Thank you for the memories Michael. This place had it's legendary moments. I'll miss going back through some of the old threads and reading them.

While we are sharing memories I know even though at times I was an insufferable ass I loved this place and you guys. When Nic died I was just out of it. I didn't leave the house for a while. I didn't get off the couch except to use the bathroom. I didn't know how to move on. After a week or two I got on GRB. It was the first site I visited. At a time when I felt let down by a lot of my real friends and the world I came here and there were familiar names and posts and it helped. It helped me get back into a routine again. So Thanks guys you helped get me through a really dark time. I'll miss this place.

WOW!

Thanks for hosting for all this time. Its been a long time since I've been anything even close to a regular, or even casual poster, but I do... did check GRB a few times a week still, and was always the first place to go for baseball info.

Since I started here in 06 as a fat grad student, (got a lead on a job to help get through grad school from GeddyWrox) I've changed careers 3 times, lived in a commune, fell in love, got married, buried my grandfather, lost over 100 lbs, bought a house, earned a blackbelt, and most importantly, bought a Ria Rio. Oh, and enjoyed 2 Cardinals World Championships and quite a few memorable and exciting seasons.

Heck, my wife immediately said, "Now where are you going to go to discuss baseball with liberals?"

I will also be forever grateful to GRB for, among many things, the following:
