A PM would be appreciated. I am curious to know. I am Tech Geek and I am always curious on Techy things. You dont have to do it now. Take your time. When you are bored and there's nothing to do, send me the PM.Michael wrote:DiLLaGii wrote:Whats the difference between Board Index and Board Index>>>GatewayRedbirds ?

This is due to how they related to how they implemented subforums (I didn't implement that here). I could give you a long winded response why this makes sense but it'd bore everyone to tears.
Gotcha. I was thinking of more like:Michael wrote:Basically "Gateway Redbirds" is a sub forum of "Board index". Think of it like directories in windows.
I have:
Board index --> Gateway Redbirds --> Baseball Talk
Board index --> Gateway Redbirds --> Minors
Board index --> Gateway Redbirds --> Other Sports
Board index --> Gateway Redbirds --> Social, etc
But I could create something like this:
"Board index" --> Sports --> Baseball Talk (with posts here) --> Minors (with posts here)
"Board index" --> Sports --> Other Sports (No posts) --> Basketball (with posts here)
"Board index" --> Sports --> Other Sports (No posts) --> Hockey, etc (with posts here)
"Board index" --> Social (with posts here) --> Rants (with posts here)
Etc.
I went with a very simple flat design. "Gateway Redbirds" is a forum but not many users hand out there.

I couldn't get my avatar to resize, but figured it was time for a change anyway.![]()
I noticed it wouldn't let me put in an avatar bigger than 130 wide (the restriction on the avatar panel) but smaller than GRB guidelines allow (170 wide). No biggie - apparently there's a workaround, since some avs are bigger than that.
No, putting quotes in sigs does not stretch the browser, only images can. phpBB3 should feel more open and I think that's a good thing.DiLLaGii wrote:Is putting Quotes on Sigantures stretching the Browser? I feel in PHPBB3 its more wider than the older version. I am fine with this. I feel some people may have a problem with it. Are you planning to create some guidelines for this like "No Quotes allowed in Sig" ?
Overall, PHPBB3 is great. I love it!!
