How was it? Looks like a pretty good set list.

Freaking awesome
Their concert tonight is streaming live on thecurrent.org.
Listened to most of it while finishing some painting in our new house, then watched the encore with a few beers. Man, this hit me just right. The lead guitar dude goes berserk. Had to look em up. 61 years old Nels Cline. I always wondered how Tweedy/Wilco took this turn - now I know.

I know I'm LTTP, but I'm really enjoying Lord Huron's alt folk album "Lonesome Dreams". The album is meant to sound like a series of adventure books so it has a epic storytelling aspect to it that I love. It's the type of album I can put on repeat at work and I'm good for the day. Here's the first two tracks on the album:

Those are good. I will have to check out more of that. I saw a band about a month ago called Marah In The Mainsail. They also try to do "epic storytelling" with their music. They are still quite small (they have a kickstarter going right now IIRC). And frankly they were much better live than their studio-recorded Youtube videos. These might give you a feel:

Old Crowe Medicine Show's 50 Years of Blonde on Blonde is really good.

Video of Eno from Roxy music’s first album recording session. Don’t think it’s on YouTube

Just picked up tix to see Willie Nelson for the first time. Going to the Cape Giradeau show because it’s + Dwight Yoakam + Robert Earl Keen. Not so at Peabody according to tour info.
