I think it's fine for a 14 year old. I wouldn't let a 7 year old play it.

Question Re: Dragon Age:Origins

I just saw where a download is available for the Mac beginning tomorrow (12/21). Although I'm not sure if hubby has the system requirements to run it. (I know I don't, but his is better updated b/c of work.)

I saw a discussion of Dragon Age a few pages earlier - what platform are you guys playing? PC? Any appreciable difference that you've experienced? I'm leaning toward PS3.

I'm playing on a PC. I know I use the menu a lot, and do a LOT of command queueing, I don't know how easy/difficult it is using a controller versus a mouse.

I just saw that there's a Collector's Edition. What's the difference? (Besides $30)

I think you get some nice armor at the start. And I think it's usable in the upcoming Mass Effect 2.

Anyone else get the new Mario Brothers Wii game?

I got it. It's a lot of fun, but the difficulty is surprisingly old school (ie hard).

I played it the other night. It's fantastic.

Multiplayer is great.

I now own a Wii. Super Mario Galaxy is incredible. Mario Party 8 also very good. I'm strangely addicted to Animal Crossing. Final Fantasy: The Crystal Bearers is.. weird considering my love for the turn-based FF of old, but worth the buy.

I also have Left 4 Dead 2 now. Haven't had time to even open it. That will end tonight.

I got a PS3 with some Christmas money. I like Legends of Wrestlemania for the little I've played of it so far. The gf loves the Lego Batman game.

I ended up going against getting a Wii for the kids. Spent all the money we budgeted, and then some, on other things. Kids didn't mind at all.

Now wife wants a Wii. Go figure.

NHL 2010 is amazing on the PS3.

They added "board" play and the skating is the smoothest it's ever been.

I've been playing FIFA 10 on Xbox360. It's flipping awesome on an HD TV.
