I [expletive] hate watching Pau play basketball. He puts up great numbers, yay. He makes a nice pass every once in awhile. And he gives up about 10 or 15 shots and 5 or 8 rebounds a game to the other team, completely negating any help he gives the Bulls when he has the ball. He pisses me off whenever he grunts or flexes or shows emotion, because 90 seconds before that, he has wimpily let some crappy 6-9 second string guy gut his way into a board, or backed off a pick and roll to give up an easy 18 footer. He can put up 24/12 for all I care, he hurts the team. Unfortunately, even before Jo went down, we have zero big bodies.

I enjoy Taj every season he plays, but he can't body up against any of the big 15 or so centers.

Tonight's win, even if they get 5 more in a row, won't change my mind. I'll bet money they lose a playoff series to the Wizards, Pacers, Heat, or Hawks - whichever they run into. Maybe they sneak past the first round. A second round win, at this point, I would find shocking. I'd be totally fired up, but completely shocked.

With all my complaints, I have no idea how armchair GM Maclowery would fix the team. Can't trade Jo anymore. Maybe he'll re-sign on like a 3/$21 contract, and we can get Horford as well for a bit. Blech.

Rebuilding the Bulls into anything more than a top 4 eastern conference team hinges on getting rid of Rose's contract or him somehow miraculously becoming a productive player again. So, what? Two years? Two years of Jimmy Butler's prime gone and who knows what to build around him at that point?

Paxson and Forman have always figured out ways to be relevant but just outside the championship picture, I'm sure they'll figure something out that's almost good enough but not quite great.

The Bulls moving on from Rose would be ideal for everyone involved, even if you have to give him away.

Has Lamarcus Aldridge been hitting the tortillas pretty hard since he got paid? I was watching him the other night and he looks like a different player from his Portland days.

I knew there was tension, but I did not expect this. Wow. If they don't shape up, LeBron's legacy might be tainted a bit, as it's definitely the Cleveland LeBrons more than ever, now. I wonder if Love will be moved next. TT getting his starter spot.

This is crazy. I'm not following that close so maybe fans of the Cavs aren't that surprised.

Best thing about the Bulls game was watching them play on that floor in Boston. Best hardwood in the league.
