I'm cool with Carp starting, but we have to have everybody else ready, just in case.

FWIW, he will be the first to start 3 games in one WS since Curt Schilling in 2001.

Announcers mentioned three extra-inning homers for the Cards in their WS history - and I can remember McCarver's (of all people, and ironic he was in the booth for Freese's blast last night) but who had the other? Wasn't Boyer's slam in 1964 in regulation, or was that also in extra innings?

I know TLR likes defense with Carp pitching, but maybe he knows Carp might only go 4-5 innings?
