He's number 22. The tall one...

Has he committed anywhere?

Porter committed to Mizzou via twitter. One of the real underappreciated players in the country, Porter fits what Mizzou does perfectly.

Once Michael Porter left Missouri State, they had no chance, but I've followed him for a long time because recruited him.

Wow. I didn't even know he had committed to MU yet. Neither did today's announcers. Georgetown and MU have long been the top two, though, and I'd say Georgetown was a distant second.

Otto is the most talented of the Porter clan. Michael's my personal fave, but Corey (Michael's brother and Otto's cousin) is a close second now. He helped Sikeston to their first ever state championship and first undefeated season by scoring 24 in the state title game. Corey's a big guy, too, but in a different sense.

phins, thanks for the heads up on Otto. I've been really out of the loop the last couple of weeks.

Otto is now the all-time leading scorer in final four history. With a game to play.

You know how twitter is though. Can be great for instant info, but it could be inaccurate.

I can't tell you how many times a guy has committed to the U via twitter only to end up elsewhere.

Jimmy McKinney syndrome. Didn't get worse; just plateaued.

He's just not athletic enough to be a good wing player. He's basically a spot up shooter that isn't very good at shooting.

Does it make you sad or excited with the new that Mike Anderson is reportedly going to be named Arkansas coach on Monday?

I mean that seriously, from the outside he looks like he's done a good job, but you never know how the fanbase feels.
