I just heard this on the XM baseball channel with Chuck Wilson. Fantastic news! Is this absolutely going to happen and if when, will we know? I have DirecTV coming on Saturday, so I still have time to cancel if it's really true! =D> =D> =D>

Jim are you going back to Comcast? What a waste of time this whole thing was. Comcast and the other cable providers should have matched the offer alot sooner than they did.

Heres the article from ESPN, looks like a done deal as soon as the MLB approves it...

I never cancelled. I have Comcast, but decided to go the mlb.tv route. It's $50 less/year, and if I can get it on my TV ok.

I have Insight, so I still won't be able to get it. I have my internet and phone thru my cable, so switching to DirecTV isn't a viable option either.

I will stick with my XM and my imagination

I just cancelled mlb.tv. You have 10 days to cancel. I'll wait until the last moment next time, but someone on here posted that they talked to Comcast and they said no way. That's when I decided to order.

Here is the quote from fulldeck on page 11 of this post:
I called Comcast last week and they said that they will not be carrying MLB EI this season. I asked them several times if that could still change and they said no.
I took that and ran with it. After reading the posts about the change, I spent 5 minutes convincing myself I would be happier with mlb.tv and the extra $50 in my pocket. Then I said screw it, I'm calling and demanding they refund my money. No demands necessary, there was no issue at all. If something falls through I can always reorder.
