Will be there, somewhere in the vicinity of the Cardinals dugout.

Be forewarned, the Cardinals typically don't score a lot when I am in attendance in NY. Apologies in advance.
Looks like you have nothing to apologize for tonight!!
Literally the easiest win I have ever seen in NY. Shocked.

You have your NL division leaders each with positive triple digit run differentials. Pirates at +21. Cards and the Nats (wtf) at +5 a piece. Every other NL team including current WC2 and WC3 have negative run differentials.

Pretty clear separation between the top 3 and everyone else

Ivan takes a pitch off the hand and is the first base runner of the game.
Doesn't he already lead the majors in HBP? Is he crowding the plate or do opposing pitchers really like pitching him inside?
You would be shocked how much HBP correlate at all levels. A hitter who gets HBP a lot in high school tends to get hit a lot in college and on and on through the major league level.

Maybe interesting only to me, but it's pretty reliable.
What could account for that beyond stance? I forget which game but there was one game where the announcers were complaining about JJ crowding and I couldn’t see it. Maybe Herrera’s weird stance is deceptive, but it offhand it seems like he’d be harder to hit.

I guess you guys never watched Cheers.
Norm: Hey, that Ed guy is not my favorite person.
Coach: I think he's a big pansy making a big fuss over some intense pain. How many times did you play hurt, Sam?
Sam: Now and then.
Coach: I must've got hit by 100 fastballs. As a matter of fact, it became a specialty of mine.
Diane: Wait. You specialized in getting hit?
Coach: Yeah.
Norm: Yeah, he led the league in HBPs two years in a row.
Sam: Hit By Pitches.
Coach: See, I perfected it when I was down with the St Louis Browns organization, Diane. I could get to first base on any pitch. I mean, what I'd do was, I'd get up there and lean my body into the pitch, all right? Well, sometimes I took one right in the old melon. Only, I really made a science out of it. I became a master.
