Even though I made fun of four packs and alluded to the fact that sixes were ok, I don't buy six packs either. I drink too much to be dicking around with six god damned beers at a time.
Or you could buy 2 six packs of better beer and have 12 beers still. Jesus gave you two hands for a reason.
It's usually not economical to do this. Although I am aware of that 2x6 < 12 trick they sometimes do, and am on the lookout for it. For some reason I will piss away thousands of dollars on crazy [expletive] but won't spend and extra $.25 for beer.

I'm very frugal with beer. Frugal.
Some might say your priorities are all askew, but they would be leveling an onerous charge against you, were that the case.

Oh yes!
Urban Chestnut Brewing Co. is about to break ground on a 400-seat Bavarian-style biergarten next to its brewery and tasting room at 3229 Washington Boulevard in midtown St. Louis.

The open-air beer garden will include 50 German-built communal tables and benches. Urban Chestnut's beers will be served in liter and half-liter mugs, along with fresh bratwurst, soft pretzels and other traditional German fare cooked on an outdoor grill.

Was just at Urban Chestnut less than two weeks ago. Can't wait for that expansion. Some friends and I rented out the Llyewelyn's trolley and made the rounds to Perrennial, 4hands, Urban Chestnut, Six Row and Civil Life (I had to split after Six Row) and Perrennial and Urban Chestnut are by far my favorites out of those. I will be frequenting Urban Chestnut more often however because they are closer to home and even closer to work for a quick drink after I get off from time to time.

St. Louis has needed this for a while. I think it is better executed in a more residential neighborhood like Soulard or around Tower Grove, but I'll settle for this.
