I'd like it if at the end of every season, we totted up the wrong predictions made by sports "journalists" and for every one, they get one go with the cat o' nine tails.

chris (olympia wa)
better young arm upside this year...danny salazar or shelby miller?
David Schoenfield

I'd go with Salazar. Miller probably has the higher floor but Salazar has the higher ceiling. Just don't think Miller moves past a No. 3/4 starter.

Unless they make their predictions in the "Bold Predictions" thread.Famous Mortimer wrote:I'd like it if at the end of every season, we totted up the wrong predictions made by sports "journalists" and for every one, they get one go with the cat o' nine tails.

Diamondbacks manager Chip Hale announced Friday that Nick Punto has backed out of his minor league contract with the club.
Punto isn't ready to announce his retirement, but he's decided to take the year off rather than try to make the Arizona roster on a non-guaranteed deal. It's not clear what brought about his decision, but he battled a few injuries last season with the A's, playing in only 73 games. Punto turned 37 in November.

I'd like to know what the rest of the t-shirt says. I loved that movie.

I must be old and out of touch. I have no idea what that means.

That shirt is a reference from a movie released in 1993....Molly wrote:I must be old and out of touch. I have no idea what that means.
