BTW, if you still haven't given Breaking Bad a shot, AMC is showing the complete series again starting tomorrow night. It's on absurdly late, but if you have a job and you don't have a DVR, you're doing it wrong.

I've been waiting for this, though I have no time to watch it for months and I'd have to clear some DVR space...cpebbles wrote:BTW, if you still haven't given Breaking Bad a shot, AMC is showing the complete series again starting tomorrow night. The new format of Top Shot sucks. At least Jamie knows he's going to be in every challenge from here on out.
George might be the most generic meathead ever.

This looks really good, but awfully .... serious.lukethedrifter wrote:I don't keep up with this thread since I never watch TV as I'm better than you. Any chatter about A Game of Thrones?

The first half of the clip strangely reminded me of the Pine Barrens episode of the Sopranos. Well, the similarities are somewhat obvious, but it's an odd show to call the Sopranos to mind.

I had forgotten how good The X-Files was. I also have Twin Peaks queued up which I have never seen. I'm really interested to see if it lives up to its' hype.

Watch it for as long as you can stand, and then watch "Fire Walk With Me" to find out whodunit. Spoiler alert:07come11 wrote:I had forgotten how good The X-Files was. I also have Twin Peaks queued up which I have never seen. I'm really interested to see if it lives up to its' hype.

You know what's great? Animal Planet. It's really become a go to channel for me.

It's adapted from my favorite epic fantasy author's series of novels. One of my absolute favorite books, ever. If you don't know the plot, avoid spoilers at all costs as you watch the season, because there's a ton of stuff goin on that you aren't implicitly told about. Plus, [expletive] gets real.ghostrunner wrote:This looks really good, but awfully .... serious.lukethedrifter wrote:I don't keep up with this thread since I never watch TV as I'm better than you. Very, very good. I love subtle story telling. There were several times I paused it to just view a scene because there was so much there, or go back ten seconds to listen to dialogue again. If Linden is the typical clairvoyant homicide detective, Holden is the atypical junkie/cop. I love their interaction. Very excited about this one, hoping it doesn't go down the tubes. After the first episode I realized that we've probably already seen the bad guy, but I've got no friggin' clue...and I love that.thrill wrote:Caught it last night. Love it.
